Welcome to Summer Camp 2026
At the Garfield YMCA Summer Camp, we are excited to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and make lifelong memories. Our camp is built on the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and inclusion. We are committed to helping every camper feel included, supported, and inspired.
Throughout the summer, campers will enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to promote creativity, teamwork, physical wellness, and personal development. From sports and swimming to arts and crafts, STEM activities, and special events, each day is filled with opportunities for fun and discovery.
Our dedicated and trained staff work hard to ensure that every child has a positive and meaningful experience. We believe summer camp is more than just a place to spend the day — it’s a community where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and potential is realized.
We look forward to an amazing summer with your family!

School Age Camp:
All school age campers will have optional fun swim EVERYDAY. If your child would like to participate please send them with a bathing suit, towel, swim camp & goggles (if they prefer). All campers will get swim tested during the first week of camp. They will receive a swim cap to designate what level they can swim at. Your child needs to bring their swim cap EVERYDAY. They will NOT be allowed to swim without their swim camp. Swim caps will be available for purchase if your child loses theirs.
CIT Camp:
Our CIT program is designed for older children who are interested in developing leadership skills and gaining experience working with younger campers. CITs will:
-
Assist counselors with daily activities and supervision of campers.
-
Learn teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
-
Participate in special training sessions to develop problem-solving and responsibility
-
