Membership Fees & Categories

 

New Members are Welcomed!

There is a one time $50 joiners fee when there is less than a 3 month gap in membership. Paying membership in one full payment waives the joiner's fee. 

Adult (23-64) $480 Annual or $40.00 a month $(90.00 down payment) 3 Month option $135 due at signing 
Senior Citizen (65+) $300 Annual or $25.00 a month ($75.00 down payment) 
Parent/Child (one parent, one child under 18)* $504 Annual or $42.00 a month ($92.00 down payment)
Family (2 Adults and all of their dependent children under 22 living in the same home) $840 Annual or $70.00 a month ($120.00 down payment)
Young Adult (18-22) $360
Married Couple $720 Annual or $60.00 a month ($110.00 down payment)
Student (Full time with schedule Ages 18-22) If full time status extends beyond age group please contact the membership director $300 Annual or $25.00 a month ($75.00 down payment)
Sr. Youth 13-17 Year Old $204 Annual or $17.00 a month ($67.00 down payment)
Youth (all children under 13) $60
Preschool Youth (0-5 years old) DISCONTINUED as of 1/23/2023

Cancellation on a monthly draft requires Notice of Cancellation to be turned in. Card must be brought in with Notice of Cancellation. 14 days notice must be given to stop draft before membership date. 

Monthly memberships may not be cancelled in the first 3 months.

 With your Military I.D. you qualify for a one time discount of $80 off of your membership. May be used on an adult single, parent child, husband wife, family or household membership. Must present I.D. Must be paid in full.

Certain City Employees in our Service Area receive a one time $80 discount. Inquire within.

The Y is  a Silver Sneakers Provider through Tivity Health and Silver N Fit Provider through A.S.H.,  in which your membership is covered under certain carriers. Call 1-888-423-4632 for eligibility for Tivity (you can check ALL health plans) and ASH Fitness Customer Service at 1-877-329-2746, option 1

The Y participates with Advanta, BeFit, At Your Best and OptumHealth which are reimbursement programs for gym usage through certain United Health Care and Blue Cross plans. You must speak with your carrier directly and purchase this option through their website portal.

Prime members will have a swipe card and their membership paid through a third party provider through their insurance.

***IMPORTANT*** Parents, when signing up your child, enter your child's info and their DOB so they may register for the age appropriate membership and level. If you put your name and DOB in, you will be locked out of registering for a youth program or membership. New Member Orientation

All new members must sign up for orientation for the fitness room.

***If you do not give 24 hours notice for cancellation on an orientation, you will be charged a $40 personal training fee.***

*Adults may have one guest per visit 

*Senior youth members must attend the Fun Swim at 490 Midland Ave

*Youth members are allowed to bring one guest during family swim. No guests during fun swim

*Adults who are not members who have a child participating in a program may pay $15 to use the fitness room or take a fitness class (subject to availability) while their child is in a program.

Family Swim:
Adult Guest $10.00
Youth and Sr. Youth Guest $7.00

*Drop In Rates for Group Exercise Classes are available

Nation Wide Membership Program 

What You Need to Know (May be on hold during Covid-19 Pandemic. Please make sure to contact the Y you are visiting)
  • Valid for active, full facility YMCA members
  • On a monthly basis, nationwide member visitors must use their home Y at least 50% of the time
  • Program-only participants and special memberships are not eligible for Nationwide Membership
  • Make sure the Y offers the services and amenities you plan to use
  • Bring a photo ID with you for your visit
  • You will be asked to sign a waiver when visiting another Y location

Members of the Garfield Y-although NWM is starting again on 1/1/21, many Y's are not able to accommodate visiting members. Please do not only check the list to see if a Y is participating in NWM, but call the Y to confirm you can attend AND to find out if you will need an RSVP.

No guests permitted with a visiting member under any circumstances.

Photo ID, Current YMCA membership card must be presented at front desk. Liability waiver must be signed.
