Aqua Zumba

Splash your way into shape with an invigorating low-impact aquatic exercise. Known as the Zumba® "pool party," the Aqua Zumba program gives new meaning to the idea of a refreshing workout. Integrating the Zumba philosophy with traditional aquatic fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba® blends it all together into workout that's cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief. Mondays 8:00-9:00 p.m. Cost is $10 for members, $50 for non-members. $15 drop in rate. 

Water Workout

If you would like to exercise in the water with no impact on the joints without lifting weights, this is the class for you. The exercises consist of resistance movements combined with muscle toning for a 45 minute class that will get you moving. Summer: This program is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45-9:30 a.m. Fall(After Labor Day): This program is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15-10:00 a.m.  $10 for Sr. members , $20 for members and $75.00 for non-members. Drop in Rate: $15

Aquacise

This class is simply the morning version of Watercise. It is held three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the summer from 8:45-9:30 a.m. and in the Fall (After Labor Day) from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Mondays and wednesdays and 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Fridays. $10 for Sr. members, $20 for members and $85.00 for non-members. Drop in Rate: $15.

Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program

For those of you who suffer from arthritis or who are just looking to improve your range of motion and flexibility, The YMCA offers a slow moving class in the shallow end of the pool to get you moving. Summer: Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00-8:45 a.m. Fall (After Labor Day) Tuesday and Thursdays from 8:30-9:15 a.m. $10 for Sr. members, $20 members, and $75.00 for non-members. Drop in Rate: $15.

Watercise

It’s an aerobics class in the shallow end of the pool! Water eases the pounding on joints and muscles that some people might feel when exercising in the gym. Classes are held Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. $10.00 for sr. members, $20 members and $75.00 for non-members. Drop in Rate: $15.

Aqua Combo

You’ll get a toning and cardio experience in this class and also engage your abdominal muscles. It is done all in the shallow end of the pool, so class is low impact and gentle on the joints! Class is held on Saturdays from 8:45-9:45 a.m. Free for members, $50 non-members. Drop in Rate: $15.

Silver Splash

A light work out in the pool that helps tone and stretch your muscles. Mondays in the Summer from 8:45-9:45 a.m. and in the Fall (After Labor Day) from 10:15-11:00 a.m. Free for members, $50 non-members. Drop in Rate: $15. Silver Sneakers Members Welcome! Great for Seniors.

Adult Swim Lessons

Everyone should know how to swim and the YMCA gives you the opportunity to learn from the beginning or to brush up on your skills. Classes are in the evening, with a Beginner and Advanced offering. While the schedule has been to offer classes on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays, please understand the schedule for adults is fairly consistent but classes do close out and week ends are not always available. Timing is 7:00 p.m. and later for the week day classes. Check the schedule for the current session by calling 973-772-7450. Cost is $40 for members and $100.00 for non-members

Private Swim Lessons

One on one instruction to help even the most intimidated swimmer be comfortable in the water or the advanced swimmer perfects their technique. Members only. Rates: $30/$35/$45 depending on length of lesson.
